Therapeutic-Grade vs. Lower-Quality Oils

There is a huge difference between oils that merely smell good and therapeutic-grade essential oils. The quality of Young Living’s pure and potent essential oils has established credibility with eminent scientists and medical professionals who continue to research and validate the effectiveness of these timeless and natural wonders.

Reported effects of essential oils are based on results that occur when using pure, unadulterated products. Do not expect cheap copies that smell similar to natural plant oils to have the same effects. If you do not experience the results you seek, it is not because the oils do not work, but is more likely due to using an adulterated oil or a chemically-created substitute. Young Living Essential Oils produces only therapeutic-grade essential oils.

THERAPEUTIC-GRADE OILS:
The pure essence of roots, leaves, bark, stems, and flowers are carefully distilled from wild or field-nurtured plants. The result is unadulterated essential ois that exhibit powerful effects on the body and the mind.

Lower-Quality Oils:
The aroma may be mingled with chemical pesticides, fungicides, or fertilizers. Additives may be used to dilute the oil, or the scent may result from artificail substances created in the laboratory.

THERAPEUTIC-GRADE OILS:
Pure oils are obtained from correctly identified plant species, offering naturally occurring, therapeutic-grade constituents.

Lower-Quality Oils:
An oil may be modified with synthetic chemical components to obtain the desired aroma, without the therapeutic-grade constituents.

THERAPEUTIC-GRADE OILS:
Pure water is used for the distillation process, keeping the oils free of additives.

Lower-Quality Oils:
Water for distillation may be treated with chlorine, fluorine, and a list of other chemicals that may mix with the oils.

THERAPEUTIC-GRADE OILS:
A proprietary stainless steel distillation process uses low temperatures and pressure to preserve all plant properties and constituents.

Lower-Quality Oils:
High pressure, high heat, metal distilleries react chemically with the oils and damage beneficial constituents.

THERAPEUTIC-GRADE OILS:
Slow distillation captures the pure essence of the plant and preserves the quality of the essential oils.

Lower-Quality Oils:
Quick distillation processes damage the oils and decrease the overall quality of the oils.
