When it comes to household chores and mishaps, essential oils are great for dissolving household petrochemicals. It seems I just can’t paint without wearing some paint. I just wipe my skin with a cloth that has a few drops of peppermint essential oil and away goes the paint! I’ve even used peppermint, Ortho Ease®, and Cel-Lite Magic™ massage oils on tough chemicals like tar and other roofing toxins, and they work! — Mary Holder
